Spring (mid-April to mid-July) is the best time for watching both black and brown (grizzly) bears as well as gray wolves in Yellowstone National Park. Learn about these fascinating animals and observe them following their normal routine: foraging, traveling, or hunting, and behaving naturally and undisturbed. Using binoculars and spotting scopes, we can unobtrusively share the scenes which unfold before us. Your wildlife biologist will interpret the many facets in the lives of these animals, and help you to understand the events taking place on the landscape before you.

This is a two-day event allowing us a very early morning start on day two, an evening immediately prior, and a flexible schedule with enough time for possible backcountry bear and wolf watching. We will also be able to take in other Yellowstone features. Needless to say, a two-day trip provides the opportunity for a more in-depth experience.

We provide your picnic lunches on both days, just like on the Full Day Safaris. In addition, we provide a field breakfast on day two. Overnight accommodations included.
Add a day to include the major thermal areas of Old Faithful and a backcountry thermal area.
