Day One
• Arrival in Great Falls at mid-day; pick up at airport and proceed to the Lewis & Clark Interpretive
Center. After visiting the Center, proceed to Fort Benton, one of the great historic towns in Montana.
• Check into the historic Grand Union Hotel.
• Dinner and introductory Lewis & Clark presentation by Ken Sinay, your guide and Lewis & Clark
historian.
• Overnight stay at Grand Union Hotel.
Day Two
• Breakfast at the Grand Union Hotel.
• Embark on a half-day float on the Missouri River in a Voyager Canoe with lunch along the river.
• Visit ruins of Old Fort Benton in the afternoon.
• Dinner and overnight at Grand Union Hotel.
Day Three
• Breakfast at Grand Union Hotel.
• Visit Ulm Pishkun Buffalo Jump. Drive south along Missouri River.
• Enjoy a picnic and scenic Boat Cruise at Gates of the Mountains.
• Dinner and overnight stay at Sacajawea Hotel in Three Forks.
Day Four
• Breakfast at Sacajawea Hotel.
• 4-5 hour Lewis & Clark River Safari on the Jefferson or Madison River, including picnic.
• Dinner at Willow Creek Caf and overnight stay at Sacajawea Hotel.
Day Five
• Breakfast at Sacajawea Hotel.
• Drive along the Jefferson River and Beaverhead River to Clark Canyon Dam and Reservoir (Camp
Fortunate).
• On to Lemhi Pass; picnic at Lemhi Pass. Return to Dillon and drive to Virginia City.
• Dinner and overnight in Ennis.
Day Six
• Breakfast in Ennis and drive to Bozeman airport and catch flights back home.
This itinerary is a general outline of the safari and is subject to change at the discretion of the guide. A more detailed description will be provided upon booking.
Deposit: $500 per person to reserve your spot ($300 non-refundable)
Balance: 60 days before the trip.
Cancellation Refunds: 50% within 60-30 days before the trip. Sorry, no refund for cancellations within 30 days or less. We encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
