Bio
Adam grew up on the East Coast in Maryland, surrounded by the rolling hills and woodlands of the Mid-Atlantic. It wasn’t until a road trip to Acadia National Park in Maine that his love for wild places truly took root. The combination of rugged coastlines, quiet forests, and wildlife encounters sparked something deeper—and from that point forward, exploring national parks became more than a hobby, it became a calling. After graduating with a BFA in photography and filmmaking, he took to the road, heading west and visiting 35 national parks in the span of two years, Yellowstone being his favorite.
His guiding career began on the waters of Southeast Alaska, where he worked as a photography guide on whale watching tours. There, he honed his skills behind the camera and deepened his passion for connecting people with wildlife in meaningful ways, and discovered a love for guiding that would take him down a new and exciting career path. That season eventually led him inland, drawn by the raw wilderness and iconic wildlife of Yellowstone National Park.
For the past two years, Adam has guided in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, where he specializes in wildlife photography with a particular focus on grizzly bears. His days are often spent hiking into quiet valleys, glassing ridgelines, and waiting patiently for the perfect moment to capture Yellowstone’s wild heart. Driven by a love of wild animals and the landscapes they call home, Adam continues to find endless inspiration in the rhythms of this remarkable place.
Highly recommend this tour. Adam was our tour guide. He did an excellent job taking us to see things we would have never found ourselves! Best part of our trip to Yellowstone!
