Bio

Kyle is new to the world of guiding and has quickly discovered a passion for creating meaningful experiences through tourism and education. He believes that showcasing incredible landscapes and wildlife can inspire people, shift perspectives, and foster a deeper appreciation for conservation and the natural world.

One of Kyle’s most impactful guiding experiences came while helping lead a college class through Yellowstone. The experience confirmed his desire to pursue guiding as a career, as he found fulfillment in connecting with locals, sharing knowledge with classmates, and introducing others to places where wildlife could be observed in their natural habitat.

Originally from the Twin Cities, Minnesota, Kyle graduated from college in 2004 and has worked a variety of jobs over the years. In recent years, however, his primary focus has been helping others connect with nature. He also had the opportunity to study abroad in Tanzania and Kenya, where he contributed to a cheetah conservation project.

Kyle’s goal as a guide is to inspire people to think differently about the natural world and the importance of protecting it, while also creating memorable experiences that leave people smiling. He has a strong passion for wildlife, particularly wolves, and enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and searching for animals. When he’s not outside, he can often be found relaxing indoors with a good book or playing games with friends.

We totally enjoyed our Yellowstone Tour with our tour guide, Kyle! He is very knowledgeable and we were able to see all the highlights that we had on our list. I think he even ordered up the perfect weather. He found the perfect location to view Old Faithful .. we were also able to see The Beehive erupt! I especially enjoyed seeing The Welsh Harlequin Ducks ..as the dove in the rapids of the Yellowstone River. Thank you for having such talented tour guides on your staff.
