A Yellowstone tour with Emma is about slowing down, noticing more, and making room for the good stuff, like wildlife sightings, good conversation, and ideally, a stop for Wilcoxson’s ice cream. Originally from Georgia, she now calls Wyoming home and loves helping guests experience the park in a way that feels real and memorable.

Bio
Emma grew up just outside Athens, Georgia, and made her way west to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem where she’s built a life around sharing the outdoors with others in a meaningful way. She graduated in 2023 from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College with a degree in Agriculture Communications, which sparked her interest in connecting people to landscapes, wildlife, and the stories behind them.
Her connection to Yellowstone actually started long before she worked there. She first visited the park in 2018 with her family and fell completely in love with it. It’s been a bit of a family affair, with a love for the park going back more than 40 years to her family’s first visit to the area.
Emma started her Yellowstone experience in 2021 working as a cashier for Yellowstone General Stores during college. That’s when she got her first real taste of life inside the park. During that time, she also lived through the historic 2022 floods, an experience that gave her a deeper appreciation for how powerful and dynamic Yellowstone is.
In 2023, Emma worked at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, WY, where she gained a deeper understanding of regional history, wildlife, and cultural heritage. She made Cody her home in 2024 and continues to build her connection to the area every day.
On tour, Emma focuses on slowing things down and helping guests really take in what they’re seeing, whether that’s wildlife along the road, unexpected stops that turn into highlights, or just time to appreciate the landscape. She especially enjoys helping guests notice the small details that are easy to miss when you’re moving too fast.
And yes—she firmly believes every great Yellowstone day should include Wilcoxson’s ice cream!
On her days off, you can usually find her exploring the area, fishing local rivers, or photographing wildlife with friends while chasing a good mountain sunset.
Our wildlife safari was amazing! Our guide not only knew where to go, what to look for but had so much wildlife, park and historical knowledge it was unbelievable! Highly recommend!
