Bio

Equipped with a Metallurgical Engineering degree, a fascination with physics and chemistry, and an obsession with continuous improvement, Shawn spent nearly 15 years developing processes and coaching colleagues on quality. Then, seeking transformational change, he and his wife started a bakery and café in their hometown. A self-taught baker, Shawn shared his newfound learnings through a dynamic, traveling baking curriculum. When they sold the café in 2019, they had helped 2,000 students over 10 years. Shawn spent a summer as a Ghost Tour Guide in Wisconsin Dells, then moved with his wife to the Mountain West. There, he spent a summer working in Grand Teton National Park and discovered his love of hiking in the mountains. He now wants to share what he has seen and learned with guests and hopes to inspire them to love this place as much as he does.
