Bio

After careers in commercial real estate and bicycle retail, Steve Levine decided to follow his true passion: being outside as much as humanly possible. Trading office walls for wide-open spaces, he stepped into the world of hospitality, photography, and adventure travel—and hasn’t looked back.

Since 2019, Steve has been a professional tour leader, guiding guests through some of the wildest and most beautiful places on Earth. His love for photography and capturing wildlife in untamed landscapes has taken him from the Arctic and Antarctica to Alaska, Galapagos and beyond. If there’s a place with big skies, fresh air, and something furry or feathered to photograph, Steve is probably already packing his bags.

His heart, however, belongs to the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem. The wildlife, the community, and the ever-changing landscapes keep drawing him back to Montana and Wyoming—what he proudly calls his “new backyard.”

Steve’s all about sharing not just the pretty vistas, but also a peek behind the curtain at wildlife and the environment. He does it with a mix of awesome stories, laughs, and those totally unforgettable moments when guests get to explore wild places together. Just don’t be shocked if he hits the brakes on the group to snap “one more” bison pic or drop “one more” cool story.
