Lorna Scribner

Naturalist Guide

Lorna has always been inspired by wildlife, both big and small. She has a B.S. in Animal Behavior and has studied everything from sharks to honeybees. She spent her first years after graduating university managing the Bimini Biological Field Station in the Bahamas, learning the intricacies of large animal behavior and ecology, as well as remote living. She then returned stateside to teach environmental education in Maryland, creating mini-adventures for mini-explorers. After a quick vacation out West, she and her husband decided they needed to call Montana home in 2018. Lorna is drawn to all of Montana’s wild creatures and spaces and spends her free time exploring with her family and teaching her own mini-conservationist about bears, birds and bugs.

Lorna has been guiding since 2018.

The tour was top notch. Our guide was very prepared, knowledgeable and timely. She made sure we saw all highlights on the route but gave us plenty time to sit and enjoy the ride as well. She also managed our time to make the best schedule to maximize the sites we were able to see.
